Things to Make for your Doll

We were looking at this cute little book called Things to Make for Your Doll by Kathy Ross. It had a very cute idea for making a little bulletin board! (also extremely easy)! All you do is glue some pretty craft paper to cardboard and then put little rubber bands around it.

The book had a lot of other cute ideas! I think most of them were meant for more American Girl size dolls, but it wasn't hard to shrink (for lack of a better word) it down.

Plastic Canvas Craft

Bella has just started plastic canvas...... ing? Anyway they're really cute! Apparently it's a lot like cross stitching, but you do it on plastic canvas. I, Grace, helped with the tassels!

Look at the cute little flower details! But, I have to say, the tassels are definitely the best part. Really make the rug.  OK, now Bella's getting annoyed at me.....

Pat Catans Finds

Here our some of the cute miniatures we've found at Pat Catans! We wish more craft stores had miniature aisles..... Oh well. :)

Hobby Lobby Finds

Hobby Lobby has the greatest little miniature aisle! Here are a couple of things we've gotten there...

 Sorry the lighting is bad in this one, it's permanently stuck to a wall in a doll house, so it's very hard to photograph

Volant Miniatures

Here our the miniatures we got at the Volant Miniature Shop It's a great little miniature shop that has everything from miniature chinese take out to miniature Harry Potter books!

Halloween and Miniatures

Hello Everyone!
I, Grace, quit this blog. But that was before, and this is now.  I quit before because I didn't think we did enough crafts to do a crafting blog, which was originally why we started. But then I thought of a new idea (OK, Bella helped too) why not a blog focused on miniatures? We make and buy miniatures all the time. So we are back and better than ever, because this time we have miniatures! (Teresa says she would like to use this blog too, and she says she won't be posting about miniatures. So this might be a miniature/miscellaneous blog)

Here is our homemade hand sewn Barbie Halloween costumes!

 This is a fairy costume, by Bella. She made everything in it, including the wings.

This is a cat costume, also by Bella.

 The hat is from a bitty baby costume, but Grace made the jack-o-lantern shirt. The orange turtleneck is from a yard sale.
