EASTER!!!

Only a week and 1 day till Easter! My birthday is this month (Well tomorrow it will be April)
and so is Hutch's!! I'll be 12 and he'll be 3!

On monday Charlie is turning sixteen weeks! That means he'll finally be old enough to go on walks. :) I am sooooo excited! He's getting his last rabies vaccination on Tuesday, so I'm thinking of taking him for his first walk on Wednesday. We'll see how it goes!

I finished reading a series called Airborne a couple weeks ago, has anyone heard of it? Adam Young used a line from it in his song If My Heart Was a House! It's a really cute series.

Hot Dog

Have you ever seen a dog left in a car on a hot day and worried about him? What if the car is too hot? And will the owner be out of the store soon? Leaving dogs in the car in hot weather is a really dangerous thing to do. On an 85 degree day, it takes ten minutes for the car to reach 102 degrees. And within 30 minutes the car can 120 degrees! So Rosemary looked around and found some websites that have fliers you can print out or buy to leave on peoples windshields to make sure they know that leaving your dog in the car is not good. This is off subject, but last night I had a pumpkin pie shake at Sonic. It was...... interesting.

OK, I admit it........

OK, I admit it. I'm a terrible blogger. The problem is, we set up this blog to post crafts, and other than clay I don't make crafts all that often. But I finally found something to post about! The shelter said yes! They are giving us a puppy! His name is Livingston (for now) and he is REALLY cute! He's a little white puppy with a brindle face. So I'll be posting about my experience raising a puppy, and all you people who have already raised puppies can laugh and say "We warned her!" ;)

Weird Dog Stuff

My dog Hutch does some weird stuff. I'm sure I've told you all a million times about how he sneezes, but this completely and utterly creepy. Like all dogs, he learns very quickly what gets him attention, and this is very hard to ignore! If you put him in his crate when there's lots of people around, he'll do this until you let him out.
This one looks like a zombie. Is that not scary???? What weird/odd things do your dogs do?
